Biography

Jonathan Danladi Gyet Maude (born 1938) is the Monarch of Ham (Jaba) Kingdom, a Nigerian traditional state in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is also known by the title “Chief of Jaba (Ham) and King of Nok Kingdom”.

King Jonathan is recognized for his leadership and contribution to the development and welfare of the Ham (Jaba) Kingdom and its people. He has been actively involved in various community development initiatives, including education, healthcare, and social welfare programs, aimed at improving the lives of his subjects and the broader community.

As a traditional ruler, King also serves as a bridge between the Ham (Jaba) Kingdom and the modern Nigerian society. He has been involved in efforts to promote peace, harmony, and unity among the diverse ethnic groups in the region, and has played a role in conflict resolution and mediation within the kingdom and beyond. King Jonathan’s reign as the Paramount Ruler of Ham, Nok Kingdom has been marked by a deep sense of reverence for the ancient cultural heritage of the Ham people.
